Requirements
Must:
We seek a candidate with extensive experience working with Snowflake and a strong understanding of modern software engineering principles, including automation, testing, and architecture design. You should be confident working in a cloud-native environment, preferably AWS, and comfortable with web-based application development and data infrastructure.
While not all listed are essential, familiarity with the following is ideal:
- AWS
- TypeScript, React, Node.js
- C# and Python services
- Data stores such as Redshift, DynamoDB, Postgres, Elasticsearch, S3
- Snowflake as a central part of a modern data platform
Responsibilities
In this role, you will take ownership of the systems and infrastructure that integrate Snowflake into our broader data ecosystem. You will play a key part in ensuring that the platform remains scalable, maintainable, and responsive to evolving business needs. As a senior technical figure, you will collaborate across multiple teams to tackle complex engineering challenges and promote the adoption of Snowflake throughout the organization. Additionally, you will work closely with partner teams and third-party vendors to ensure that all integrations are technically sound and align with our internal standards. You will also serve as a technical authority on Snowflake implementation and integration, helping to shape the platforms evolution across the business.
Description
This position offers a salary of up to £85,000, with flexible working arrangements, including hybrid and remote opportunities within the UK. An annual bonus of up to 15% and an 8% pension are included, along with health and dental care.
