Requirements
Must:
- Strong C# / .NET development experience
- Advanced SQL skills (performance tuning, complex queries, data modelling)
- Azure cloud experience (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, DevOps etc.)
- Experience building highly available, resilient systems
- Excellent communication skills - able to engage directly with business users
- Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership & initiative
- Angular or another modern JavaScript framework (desirable)
- Financial services exposure (though strong engineers from other sectors are welcomed) (desirable)
- Experience within Agile/Jira environments (pragmatic delivery mindset essential) (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Develop real-time asset tracking platforms integrating external data sources (e.g. Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Morningstar, market data feeds, pricing & risk engines)
- Build high-availability, high-quality distributed applications
- Enhance systems that model financial positions, transactions and flows
- Drive projects from inception through design, build, testing and release
