Requirements
Must:
- 10+ years of senior technical leadership experience within a complex, matrixed organisation — ideally in professional services, B2B, or consulting.
- Proven leadership track record in building long-term stakeholder relationships and shaping strategic marketing visions including navigating ambiguity and driving alignment across multiple teams.
- Significant expertise in marketing-led technology transformation, including digital transformation, brand evolution, and operationalisation of new marketing capabilities.
- Strong command of the marketing technology landscape, including CRM, marketing automation, analytics platforms, content management, and emerging AI-enabled tools.
- Understanding of commercial priorities relevant to BCGs business and familiarity with agile methodologies and ways of working (like Scrum).
Responsibilities
- Create and deliver on the Marketing Portfolios vision, strategy, and outcomes in partnership with the Marketing Portfolio.
- Own key marketing products and platforms such as .COM and CMS to execute against the BCG marketing strategy.
- Monitor and evaluate emerging trends in marketing and digital channels to identify opportunities.
- Ensure all marketing programmes are aligned with the portfolios ambitions and adjust strategies in response to market changes.
- Foster collaboration between marketing, IT, data, and business functions to ensure effective marketing solutions.
- Partner with various teams to ensure marketing activities comply with relevant standards and guidelines.
- Lead and mentor a chapter of technology specialists, ensuring a culture of knowledge sharing and development.
- Manage resources, planning, and talent development to ensure the team has needed capacity and tools.
- Establish best practices and technical marketing frameworks, ensuring they reflect best practice across BCGs global marketing function.
