Requirements
Must:
- Relevant previous experience or a degree with quantitative elements (Math, Physics, Geography, Data Science, Psychology)
- Interest in GIS (Geographic Information Science) principles
- Stakeholder management experience, presenting complex results to less technical audiences
- Proficiency in programming languages including SQL, Python, and R
- Ability to balance multiple projects
- Experience using GIS software, especially ESRI and Alteryx (preferred)
- Demonstrable record of delivering results in a commercial or academic environment
- Experience using data visualisation tools such as Power BI
- Expertise in working with large structured and unstructured data sets, preferably in Databricks
- Ability to deal well with ambiguity
Responsibilities
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Take on responsibility and lead value from data, creating insights and tools to solve business problems
- Translate complex analytics into understandable insights and principles
- Focus on geospatial data exploration and tooling capabilities
- Support Boots in implementing business solutions through analytical thinking and capability
