Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience working with infrastructure technologies (e.g. Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware or other virtualisation platforms, networking fundamentals, Zscaler Internet/Private Access)
- Highly organized with strong governance, project management, and budgeting skills
- Clear communication skills and ability to build positive, productive relationships
- Commitment to stability, service quality, and security
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and resolve problems effectively
- Capacity to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
- Understanding of prioritization, dependency management, and outcome measurement
- Strong drive to deliver meaningful results with a bias for action
Responsibilities
- Look after core systems such as servers, storage, databases, and network connectivity
- Guide and coordinate the work of mainly external engineering resources
- Keep our infrastructure performing at its best — secure, reliable, and up to date
- Ensure systems meet budget, governance, and business requirements
- Plan and deliver infrastructure projects, including upgrades and new solutions
- Manage incidents and changes, minimizing disruption for colleagues
- Maintain clear service-level reporting and support Disaster and Total Loss Recovery testing
- Work closely with application and business stakeholders to identify improvements
- Build strong relationships to ensure technology supports business growth
