Requirements
Must:
- Experience in Python coding language is desirable.
- Online digital technologies and e-commerce experience with the ability to customize a product.
- Knowledge or exposure to B2B and distribution is a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering software through an in-house team as well as in a hybrid mode.
- Hands-on experience as a full stack developer, with experience across SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, Business Objects and/or similar.
- Database management skills and experience with Power BI are desirable.
- Exposure to automated testing tools, understanding of database reporting design and BI techniques.
- Understanding of QA and Security principles.
- Candidates must already have the right to work in the UK without restrictions/sponsorship.
- Expected to comply with the Companys Policies regarding Data Protection, Information Security, and Confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Work with the leadership team to develop reporting, dashboards, and cockpits.
- Build upon existing work to leverage new approaches to data and systems architecture.
- Support growth of team members regarding reporting and data needs.
- Deliver technology on time and to quality standards to accelerate sales and growth opportunities.
- Identify technology advances to support mission and resource flexibility during peak workloads.
- Develop close relationships with key users to define forward change.
- Lead the development team in all aspects of the BI and data program.
- Ensure software is delivered on time and to quality standards.
- Stay updated on technology trends in BI/Data arenas.
- Manage incidents or problem tickets for deployed software.
- Ensure all deliverables are documented and knowledge is shared within the team.
- Support for DR/BCP tests as needed.
- Contribute to future strategy and long-term plans for Bonds Digital Transformation.
- Manage relationships with external and internal key stakeholders.
Description
At Bond International, we are a Warehouse & Distribution organization based in Pocklington. We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional to lead our Business Intelligence strategy to support current and evolving business requirements. This full-time office-based role offers a salary of £50,000 per annum, along with benefits such as casual dress and on-site parking. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the industry while working closely with our senior leadership team.
