Requirements
Must:
- Previous experience in a similar role in software development
- Strong skills in Java and/or C#
- Experience with build tools such as Maven, Gradle, Ant or .NET
- Experience using Git for version control
- Proven experience building RESTful APIs
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Experience working in Windows and/or Linux environments
- Experience with cameras or IoT systems (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend software systems in Java or C#
- Build scalable platforms for ingesting and analysing data from ANPR and IoT devices
- Develop RESTful APIs and collaborate with front-end developers
- Ensure software performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Contribute to system architecture and technical decision-making
- Integrate customer and internal feedback into software improvements
- Test and validate systems against real-world scenarios
Description
We are Bolt Technical, and we are recruiting for a Back End Software Developer to join our clients growing engineering team in Kent. With a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £45,000 per annum, we offer a collaborative team environment where you can enjoy flexible working hours and the opportunity to work on impactful, real-world technology. After a 6-month probation, hybrid working options will be available, and we provide 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a pension scheme, and a group bonus scheme.
