Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in upholstery and pattern cutting (commercial furniture experience is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of upholstery construction, foams, textiles, and frames
- Good communication skills, as you’ll be working with internal teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners
Responsibilities
- Support the creation of new upholstered products from concept to production
- Collaborate with international design studios to turn creative ideas into technically and commercially viable products
- Develop prototypes, evaluate comfort and ergonomics, and resolve construction challenges
- Source and test materials, foams, and finishes to ensure they meet design intent and sustainability goals
- Occasionally carry out some upholstery in the workshop to keep hands-on skills sharp
- Produce and maintain detailed product specifications and technical documentation
