Requirements

Must:
We are looking for candidates who have some experience with IT support or a strong technical foundation, and we welcome graduates. Familiarity with databases (SQL Server preferred), Windows OS, and Microsoft Office is important. You should possess great communication skills, being confident, approachable, and customer-focused. An organized and proactive approach to solving problems and managing time is essential. We also value genuine enthusiasm for learning new technologies and developing your skills. Nice-to-have skills include experience with SQL Server/report writing, Freshdesk, Intercom, or YouTrack, as well as knowledge of web technologies.

Responsibilities

As a Technical Services Engineer, I will act as the primary contact for customer queries across phone, email, and live chat. My role involves troubleshooting and owning tickets through to resolution while building strong, positive relationships with both customers and colleagues. I will learn the ins and outs of our products to become a trusted expert in my field. My responsibilities will also include supporting a variety of areas such as technical support, migrations, bespoke templates, bug investigations, and liaising with internal teams and third parties to ensure smooth and timely solutions. Additionally, I will contribute to knowledge base articles and share best practices.

Description

If you’re looking for a role that goes beyond just closing tickets, this position could be the perfect next step in your career. No two days will be the same; one day I might be deep diving into a bug investigation, while the next I could be working on migrations, onboarding, or creating knowledge base articles relied upon by thousands of users. This role is ideal for those who love solving technical problems with a customer-centric approach, want exposure to a wide range of technologies and challenges, enjoy working in a collaborative environment where their ideas matter, and are looking for a clear path for growth in tech support, product engineering, or operations. You will benefit from a competitive salary, 25 days of holiday (plus bank holidays) and a 'birthday' holiday, volunteer leave to support local communities, numerous health and wellbeing initiatives, and many more perks. Additionally, there will be clear opportunities for career progression, whether you wish to delve deeper into technical expertise, leadership, or product-focused roles, all within a supportive team culture that encourages collaboration and personal growth.
