Technical Product Manager - Semantic Modeling

- I will define and champion the long-term vision and strategic roadmap for Bloomberg's enterprise semantic model (BSM), aligning it with firm-wide data and product strategies. - I will develop and deploy strategies for iterative semantic model development and modularization of semantic models and taxonomies for application across various use cases. - I will create a domain-inclusive knowledge modeling strategy that extends BSM beyond financial instruments to include products, people, processes, and internal operations. - I will lead the integration strategy between BSM and AI/ML teams, enabling semantic grounding for generative AI, intelligent agents, and large language models. - I will establish structured roadmaps for domain-specific modeling in collaboration with data experts from asset classes, reference data, core products, and engineering teams. - I will oversee the prioritization and sequencing of data domains into the BSM to ensure a coherent and extensible knowledge architecture. - I will establish best practices for developing ontologies, taxonomies, and reference models, ensuring quality, reusability, and semantic consistency. - I will stay informed about the latest research, tools, and industry trends in knowledge representation and incorporate innovative approaches into the modeling lifecycle. - I will introduce automation and tooling for model development workflows to streamline authoring, validation, and deployment processes. - I will work closely with data domain experts, core product stakeholders, and engineers to capture modeling requirements and translate them into actionable roadmaps and user stories. - I will serve as a key liaison between data teams, platform engineers, and AI researchers, facilitating communication to ensure models meet stakeholder needs. - I will foster collaboration between metadata creators and consumers, ensuring the semantic infrastructure is usable, scalable, and impactful. ###
