Requirements
Must:
We are seeking candidates with at least 4 years of professional experience in data engineering or related fields. You should have a proven ability to design, build, and maintain data pipelines at scale. Hands-on expertise in developing and implementing data quality initiatives, including measurements and metrics, anomaly detection, and monitoring, is crucial. Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and modern data architecture concepts is required, along with proficiency in data profiling tools such as Python and SQL. Experience integrating data from diverse sources to ensure reliability, scalability, and accuracy across large datasets is essential. Additionally, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work independently are necessary.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines for the acquisition, ingestion, and transformation of diverse datasets, ensuring high-quality outputs. You will lead and own data quality initiatives, design and implement automated data quality checks, and support data extraction and integration efforts. Collaboration with Product and Engineering teams is key to defining priorities and delivering end-to-end data solutions. You will also identify opportunities for process improvements and infrastructure enhancements to elevate data quality. Engaging stakeholders across regions and disciplines while providing technical guidance and staying current on data engineering trends will be crucial.

In Capital Structure, our products are core to credit risk analysis, enabling clients to assess the complete financial structure of corporate groups. We are looking for a Data Engineer with a strong foundation in data quality to help us acquire, process, and monitor the datasets that drive our products. We'd love to see candidates with DAMA CDMP or DCAM certifications and familiarity with Corporate Actions, Loans, and Corporate Bonds.
