We are looking for an individual with proven excellence in customer service, fluency in both English and French (written and spoken), and a strong understanding of router commands and network protocols such as SFTP, TCP, UDP, BGP, and RIP. You should have experience communicating and coordinating with internal and external partners, as well as a genuine passion for supporting technology across various platforms. A solid grasp of PC hardware, operating systems, and software suites (Windows and Mac OS, Office Suite) is essential, along with superb interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. An aptitude for multitasking is also required.

Responsibilities
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will provide platinum technical service to both new and existing Bloomberg clients. You will utilize your sophisticated technical skills to resolve issues while collaborating closely with a range of partners to ensure access to Bloomberg infrastructure. Your role involves communicating with key accounts, supporting Bloomberg's software, network, and hardware offerings, and handling all aspects of our private IP network. Additionally, you will integrate and support Bloomberg products and services into clients' environments, troubleshoot hardware on virtual platforms (such as VMWare and Citrix), and manage stakeholder relationships with telecom vendors globally. Multitasking and prioritizing a high volume of calls, messages, and tickets while contributing to team initiatives in a fast-paced environment will be key aspects of your position.

Description
We would also love to see some additional skills, such as knowledge of telecommunication lines, basic network design, and security. Certifications like CompTIA A+, CCNA, or NET+ would be beneficial. Familiarity with sophisticated Excel functions, including Macros and VBA, alongside an ability to analyze data, is a plus. Understanding message protocols like FIX 4.0, FIX 4.2, and FIX 4.4 will also be advantageous.
