Junior Technical Author

In this role, you will collaborate with engineers, developers, and other technical specialists to understand complex products or systems, gathering the necessary information for accurate documentation. You will produce clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation, including user guides, instruction manuals, training materials, and installation instructions. Additionally, you will review and revise existing documents to ensure they are up-to-date, correct, and easily understood by the intended audience. Your responsibilities will also include creating and commissioning diagrams, illustrations, screenshots, and other visual aids to support technical explanations, evaluating newly written materials with end-users to ensure clarity and usability, and maintaining and updating a central library of technical information and documentation. Moreover, you will keep abreast of trends, standards, and developments within the relevant engineering or technology sector and undertake additional tasks as required by management.
