Must:
We are looking for candidates with proven experience in automation leadership within logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing. You should have a strong track record in delivering complex automation programmes across multiple sites. A deep understanding of warehouse automation technologies such as robotics, AS/RS, and conveyor systems is essential. Additionally, we seek individuals with commercial acumen and experience managing large capital expenditure budgets. Excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills are a must, along with a strategic mindset and hands-on delivery capability.
Responsibilities
As the Head of Automation, you will take charge of defining and executing the automation strategy across our warehouse network. Your role will involve leading end-to-end automation programmes, from concept through to delivery, while overseeing the solution design, implementation, and integration of automated systems. You will also be responsible for building and managing relationships with key automation technology providers, as well as managing a substantial capital investment budget to deliver high-impact automation projects. Collaboration across various departments, including operations, IT, engineering, and procurement, will be crucial to your success.
