Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst in a Financial Services or regulated environment
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, PowerBI, and LookerStudio
- Strong communication skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements for the FCA
- Experience in report migration projects and monitoring/reporting on key performance indicators
- Knowledge of Agile project environments and the full data lifecycle process
- Strong problem-solving skills to design and implement business-critical data reports and dashboards
- Ability to ensure data quality and governance practices, especially in transformed data environments
Responsibilities
- Support the transition from Microsoft-based tools to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including report migration
- Deliver robust and accurate data sets for regulatory reporting to the FCA and internal audit functions
- Collaborate with the Transformation Team to align data strategy with business initiatives
- Optimize processes to consistently deliver metrics, reports, and insights to stakeholders
- Leverage coding best practices for efficient execution of code against large datasets
- Investigate anomalies in trends and collaborate with stakeholders to identify root causes
- Communicate the impact of findings and recommend courses of action
- Uphold data quality and governance practices during the transition
