Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience in PHP (7.x/8.x) and Symfony (preferably Symfony 4+).
- Proficiency in building scalable, high-performance web applications.
- Experience with managing relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and writing optimised SQL queries.
- Familiarity with integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Willingness to travel to our office in Grantham once per quarter for team planning sessions and meetings.
- Must be based in the UK, as international applications are not considered.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and Symfony.
- Collaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimise application performance and scalability to handle large volumes of transactions and data.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Build RESTful APIs for efficient communication between services.
