Requirements
Must:
- Significant experience in senior-level network engineering or network architecture.
- Strong expertise with Cisco Meraki β design, rollout, and troubleshooting.
- Experience producing high-quality network documentation (HLD, LLD, Confluence).
- Familiarity with Zero Trust, SD-WAN, or NAC principles.
- Experience supporting large, distributed network environments (ideally multi-site or retail).
Responsibilities
- Lead major network projects to support multiple sites as part of a critical infrastructure modernization.
- Work hands-on with Cisco Meraki technologies to help deliver a modern, secure, and scalable network across over 500 UK branches and offices.
- Act as the architectural βgo toβ for knowledge transfer, serving as the primary technical escalation point for the business-critical network estate.
- Collaborate with the existing Network Architect to play a key role in proof of concepts, pilot programs, BAU transitions, and new initiatives like Zero Trust, NAC, and SD-WAN.

We are looking for a Lead Network Engineer to join our enterprise-scale organization on a journey to modernize and future-proof our complex network estate. If you are a Senior Network Engineer ready to step into architecture or a hands-on Network Architect looking to remain close to delivery, this could be the ideal role for you. We offer a competitive salary range of Β£70,000 to Β£80,000 depending on experience, along with flexible hybrid working options, allowing you to work 2β3 days a week in our Huddersfield office.
