Requirements
Must:
We expect you to have at least 6 months of proven experience in penetration testing or security testing. You should be familiar with industry-standard tools such as Metasploit and Burp Suite, as well as vulnerability scanning tools. Experience with various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and Mac, is essential. An interest in threat hunting, incident response, and security monitoring will be beneficial. Additionally, any certifications such as CRT, OSCP, or Cyber Scheme training, or the ambition to achieve them, are highly regarded. Eligibility for UK Security Clearance is also required.
Responsibilities
As a Junior Penetration Tester, you will join our team of expert ethical hackers to support hands-on pen testing engagements. Your role will involve conducting vulnerability assessments and contributing to threat hunting within a well-established Security Operations Center (SOC). You will develop your skills using industry-standard tools, investigate incidents, and provide actionable remediation advice.
