Requirements
Must:
- JavaScript / TypeScript experience
- Proficient in Node.js
- Experience with AWS Lambda
- Knowledge of event-driven systems
- Familiarity with Git workflows
- Experience with automated testing
- Understanding of Terraform
- Node.js backend development expertise is essential
Responsibilities
- Design and develop event-driven integrations between Shopify and various internal and third-party systems
- Focus on API development using Node.js
- Deploy integrations to AWS
- Work across the full development lifecycle from design to deployment
- Continuously improve existing integrations and systems
- Collaborate with the engineering team to share ideas and best practices

We are a well-known retail brand heavily investing in our technology platform, currently transforming our ecommerce system to Shopify. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact program involving modern integration development. Our collaborative engineering environment encourages learning and experimentation, allowing engineers to take ownership of their work and influence technical direction. This position is based in either Leamington Spa or Desborough with a flexible salary range of £40,000 – £50,000.
