Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience with Microsoft technologies including Azure, Windows Server, Entra, Active Directory, and SQL Server
- Experience providing 2nd/3rd line support
- Knowledge of application installation, configuration, upgrades, and security patching
- Understanding of SSO and networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with service management tools such as ServiceNow
- Knowledge of change control and governance processes
- Excellent communication skills, especially with non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Administer and support business applications using Microsoft technologies
- Provide 2nd/3rd line support to ensure incidents and service requests are resolved
- Support the installation, configuration, and rollout of new applications
- Monitor applications, apply updates and security patches, and manage planned changes
- Log and present change requests at weekly change boards
- Troubleshoot technical issues and communicate solutions to stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on business-as-usual and project-based work
Description
We are a well-established UK construction and infrastructure group focused on delivering major building and civil engineering projects nationwide. This role is based in our Shared Service Centre in Hinckley, requiring one day a week in-office, with the remainder of the week being work from home. We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 and benefits including 28 days plus bank holidays, private healthcare, a bonus, and pension options.
