Must:
As a Senior Data Developer, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or relevant experience in the data engineering field.
- Experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Spark, and SQL.
- Strong experience with SQL databases.
- Expertise in data pipeline and workflow management tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, ADF).
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and related data services.
Responsibilities
In your role as our Senior Data Developer, you will take on the following key duties:
- Understand the business and product strategy while supporting goals to ensure data interpretation aligns with these objectives.
- Provide technical leadership on breaking down initiatives into appropriately sized features, epics, and stories that balance value and risk. You will lead in setting standards and driving quality in solution delivery.
- Collaborate closely with the Data Architect on designing our data architecture and interpreting it into a build plan.
- Lead the build and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support data integration and analytics from diverse data sources, including cloud storage, databases, and APIs.
- Deliver large-scale data processing workflows (ingestion, cleansing, transformation, validation, storage) using best practices.
- Work together with the BI Product Owner, analysts, and other business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Optimize and tune data processing systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Implement data quality and validation processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data throughout the pipelines.
