Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in a senior data leadership role, preferably as a Head of Data.
- Close collaboration with IT for the delivery of data products.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, bridging the business and IT worlds to deliver value for the organization.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Technical data and AI knowledge, with experience in shaping and delivering data products.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in data governance, data quality, and data protection regulations.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and technologies.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Financial Services experience is desired.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with our company's strategic goals.
- Communicate a clear and flexible roadmap that evolves with the business.
- Collaborate with the IT team to identify, evaluate, and drive the adoption of new data technologies where appropriate.
- Monitor, measure, and report on the realization of expected benefits associated with projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and accountability for outcomes.
- Drive adoption of the data strategy roadmap activities, skills planning, use case adoption, and the roll-out of a data-driven culture.
- Act as a liaison between the data team and other business units to foster a strong data culture.
- Lead the design and development of advanced analytics capabilities to provide actionable insights and collaborate with business leaders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Build, prioritize, and drive the delivery of our strategic backlog of data products and use cases.
- Build and lead a high-performing data team, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities.
