Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of three years experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer
- Experience in code design
- Familiar with concepts and best practices
- Degree educated
- Strong communicator verbally and written
- Experience of creating relational databases
- Experience of designing new code and new interfaces
- Experience of writing clear documentation including specifications, technical manuals, user manuals, and use of task tracking systems
- Strong experience applying design principles, best practices, and schema design to database systems such as Oracle and SQL Server (MSSQL)
- Experience of Oracle Forms and/or Apex is desirable
- Friendly team player who enjoys and has a passion for data and data analysis
Responsibilities
- Work within a small and friendly team as part of a wider Development and Support team
- Instantly engage in a large-scale and ongoing project that is an industry mandatory requirement
- Migrate legacy code and design new code and interfaces
- Apply concepts and best practices while developing solutions
- Solve problems effectively, enjoying both collaborative and independent work
- Maintain high attention to detail and take pride in your work

We are a fast-growing Energy and Data business located in the Surrey area, offering a great permanent opportunity as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer. Our team is small yet collaborative, and we provide a friendly work environment with hybrid working options—two days in the office and three days working from home. The role is crucial as it replaces a very experienced staff member and involves engaging in impactful projects.
