Requirements
Must:
- Around 3-5 years minimum experience as a Software Developer
- Degree educated
- MuleSoft experience is essential (RTF – Runtime Fabric)
- Solid experience of developing solutions in MuleSoft and MuleSoft Anypoint Studio
- Effective use of MUnit for unit testing Mule APIs
- Extensive knowledge of commonly used MuleSoft connectors
- Any knowledge of C#, .Net is desirable
- Thorough understanding of RESTful APIs and SOAP
- Experience of and enjoys mentoring colleagues, happy to share knowledge
- Experience of Data Weave is essential
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence is desirable
- Strong problem and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals
- Good listener and can understand the needs of customers and colleagues
- Precise and appropriate written communication skills
- Ability to present information clearly and in an engaging way
- Articulate, professional, and clear verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and support software applications and integrations as part of a Software Development team
- Design and develop software to a high standard
- Optimize integration layers that allow different systems, applications, and services to communicate
- Secure all APIs and endpoints, applying API security best practices
- Automate build and deployment pipelines for middleware solutions
- Create unit tests for all APIs and integrations, ensuring tests are run as part of the build pipelines
- Deploy middleware services to cloud or self-hosted environments
- Mentor junior and mid-level team members and drive technology forward across the business
