Requirements
Must:
- At least two years of experience as a Front-End Developer.
- Degree educated.
- Experience with React; having worked on business-related projects is sufficient. A willingness to learn more about React is ideal.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Tailwind, and JSON.
- Experience with SAAS/SCSS.
- Familiarity with Figma.
- Interest in using frameworks such as jQuery and React.
- Experience working within an Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of website design skills and substantial experience using Adobe Suite or Figma.
- Ability to explain and demonstrate work to the team, including Project Managers, Digital Marketers, and Testers.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Enjoy working as part of a smaller collaborative team and within a broader Digital department.
- Self-motivated, but comfortable working independently.
- Ability to comply with company procedures.
- Willingness to ask questions and provide updates on your work as needed.
Responsibilities
As a Front-End Developer in our dynamic and busy Digital Operations Team, you will build and amend websites within a commercial business setting using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Your role will involve creating dynamic and multifaceted websites aimed at providing engaging, user-centric, responsive, and accessible digital experiences. You will enhance development processes and best practices, participate in technical meetings, create production-ready code across multiple devices, test your work, and collaborate with the testing team on more complex bug fixes. You will be responsible for presenting high-quality work across the Front-End and UX team, and you will also work with Web/UX designs and wireframes to bring these to life with code, including responsive and animated elements.
