Requirements
Must:
- 2nd or 3rd line support experience
- A true team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
- Essential MSP experience
- Networking knowledge focusing on Ubiquiti Unifi and Mikrotik
- Windows Server expertise, including AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Hyper-V/VMware
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Azure, including administration, migrations, and security best practices
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Linux experience
- Familiarity with PSA & RMM tools such as NinjaOne, ConnectWise, or similar
- Awareness of cyber security practices, including patching, MFA, and endpoint protection
Responsibilities
- Lead and collaborate with the team, fostering a culture of shared learning and continuous improvement
- Resolve complex IT issues across networking, servers, cloud, and security as part of our 3rd line support
- Maintain and enhance IT systems through proactive management
- Implement IT projects, including cloud migrations and security enhancements
- Ensure compliance with cyber security best practices and standards
Description
We are seeking an I.T Support Engineer for our IT support and solutions company based in Waterlooville. The ideal candidate will be local and have experience with MSP, Microsoft 365, Azure, and 2nd or 3rd line support. This role is entirely on-site. We offer a competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £45,000, dependent on experience, along with 20 days of holiday, a Christmas bonus, and a yearly salary review.
