Requirements
Must:
- Experience working with Adult Service systems, specifically Liquidlogic and Controcc, ideally Agresso
- Proficiency in query languages and data analysis packages such as SQL, R, Python, and Power BI
- Familiarity with applicable national and international standards, frameworks, and methods such as ITIL, ISO 20000, PRINCE, MSP, MoP, ISO 27001
Responsibilities
- Ensure the Council is making excellent use of its data assets
- Support the development, management, and delivery of the Councils Data Strategy and associated work programmes
- Create and maintain the technical infrastructure needed to host and integrate disparate datasets
- Ensure data quality and take the lead in creating insightful Power BI dashboards
- Help create business and user value from data by undertaking significant engineering projects
- Lead a team of data analysts, providing management oversight and leadership
- Work with data professionals to build products and services for continuous insight and value
- Lead data projects, including managing external suppliers
- Investigate and research emerging data technologies and platforms
Description
We are Slough Council, offering an initial temporary contract for 3-6 months with the potential for extension or a permanent role for the right candidate. This Data Analyst position is hybrid-based in SL1 2EJ, focused on enhancing our data strategy and management.
