Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience in distributed system design and implementation
- Strong knowledge of reporting and analytics application development
- Experience in creating fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and analytical dashboards
- Leadership skills to drive engineering practices and mentor junior team members
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design and implement distributed, fault-tolerant systems for reporting and insights applications
- Create high-performance applications capable of processing nearly 10k reports weekly
- Produce various metrics to measure the performance of Bazaarvoice products and programs
- Export raw data related to user-generated content (UGC) like questions, answers, and reviews
- Develop analytical dashboards and visualizations to identify trends and patterns in client data
- Lead software initiatives from conception to delivery
- Drive engineering best practices across the team
- Mentor and develop junior engineering talent
