Requirements
Must:
We are looking for someone who has at least 1 year of work experience and is available to start within the next month or at the earliest convenience. You must have full UK right to work without dependency. A Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field is essential. Strong experience with Python and SQL is required, along with project management experience using GitHub, paying attention to best practices. You should have a good understanding of LLM frameworks such as LangChain or PydanticAI, foundational knowledge of transformers and diffusion models for image generation, and the ability to showcase completed projects using LLMs with a focus on areas such as RAG or fine-tuning. Familiarity with deploying applications in cloud environments like AWS or Azure and a proven track record in securing web/API applications are also important. We seek individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit who are eager to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues. Effective communication skills to articulate complex outcomes to non-technical team members are necessary, along with the ability to work under pressure and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
As a member of our expanding Generative AI team, you will play a key role in developing cutting-edge Gen AI products and providing consultancy services to our clients. Reporting directly to our Head of Gen AI, you will collaborate with a talented team of developers and data scientists on a diverse range of projects, primarily focused on Life Sciences but potentially across multiple industries. You will work with the standard LLM stack, utilizing frameworks and tools for fine-tuning, deploying, and integrating large language models. Additionally, you will leverage cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure to design, develop, and deploy production-ready solutions.
