Requirements
Must:
- Significant experience in supporting children with neurodiversity.
- Ability to ensure the voice of the child and family is central, enabling lived experience to create change.
- Excellent team working skills, capable of collaborating within a service that covers the whole of Greater Manchester.
- Ability to present information confidently to a range of people, including the delivery of workshops.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, young people, families, and professionals.
- Robust safeguarding knowledge and good recording skills.
- A car available for work with business insurance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver support for neurodivergent children and their families.
- Ensure that the needs and voices of children and families are prioritized in all services.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support across Greater Manchester.
- Conduct workshops and presentations to educate others about neurodiversity.
- Maintain robust safeguarding practices and accurate records of support provided.
- Adapt work hours to meet the flexible needs of families, including some evenings and occasional weekends.
