2211 IT & Software Developer jobs in the UK
Requirements
Must:
You should have hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar) in a business context. Experience with automation and integration tools (e.g., Power Automate, Zapier, Make, or similar) is also essential. Strong skills in Excel are required, and ideally, you will have some experience with Power BI or other dashboard tools. A practical understanding of APIs, webhooks, or integrations is beneficial, although you don’t need to be a full developer. Additionally, clear communication skills are necessary, as you will be training and supporting non-technical users. A curious, problem-solving mindset is critical; you should enjoy measuring impact and improving processes. Experience in recruitment, staffing, or a similarly fast-paced, high-volume environment would be a bonus but is not essential.
Responsibilities
You will be our in-house AI & automation go-to, owning, improving, and expanding how we utilize AI across the business. Typical responsibilities include designing and building AI-powered workflows to save time for sales, ops, and back-office teams. You will create and maintain automations between our CRM, job boards, marketing tools, and reporting systems. Developing prompts, templates, and tools to help consultants write better adverts, emails, and messages faster will be part of your role. You’ll work closely with the Managing Director and leadership team to identify process bottlenecks and transform them into automated solutions. Supporting reporting and dashboards (e.g., Power BI / Excel) will give management real-time visibility of performance. Additionally, you will test, document, and roll out new tools and processes while training non-technical users on how to safely and effectively use AI tools. Staying updated with new AI features and making sensible recommendations on what we should adopt next will also be part of your duties.
Description
At our company, we are serious about utilizing AI and automation to enhance the experience for both our consultants and clients. You will pick up a live environment with existing tools and workflows, so you won’t be starting from scratch. However, you will find plenty of opportunities to improve, standardize, and innovate. We offer a competitive salary and benefits, the opportunity to shape how AI is embedded within our established, growing recruitment business, and direct access to decision-makers. Our culture is friendly and down-to-earth; we value people who are eager to learn and improve. You will also benefit from ongoing development as AI and automation tools continue to evolve.
