Mainframe Software Engineer

The successful candidate will be based in Knutsford (Radbroke Hall). The purpose of this role is to design, develop, and improve software using various engineering methodologies to provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. As an Assistant Vice President, you will also be expected to: - Advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, and ensure operational effectiveness through collaboration. - Lead collaborative assignments, guide team members, and identify the need for specialized areas to achieve desired outcomes. - Consult on complex issues and provide advice to support the resolution of escalated matters. - Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures in line with governance. - Manage risk effectively and strengthen controls related to your work. - Analyze data from multiple sources to solve problems creatively and effectively. - Communicate complex and sensitive information to relevant stakeholders and influence outcomes.
