To be successful in this role, you should have:
- An understanding of Security & Control Frameworks & Methodologies.
- Knowledge of Security Tooling and industry standards, including NIST frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including Senior Executives.

Responsibilities
As a Business Information Security Officer, you will:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their security requirements in business processes and IT projects, enhancing overall risk management.
- Execute risk assessments to identify and prioritize potential cybersecurity threats to the banks operations and data, guiding the implementation of mitigation strategies and communicating findings to relevant senior stakeholders.
- Work with business units to develop and implement security policies and procedures aligned with the risk management framework.
- Manage the implementation, testing, and monitoring of security controls across the banks IT systems to ensure their effectiveness and risk mitigation.
- Execute training content and sessions to educate employees, enhance cybersecurity awareness, and provide guidance on safe online practices.
- Manage complex cybersecurity incidents by collaborating with IT teams and response experts to effectively resolve cases through analysis, expertise support, and project supervision.
- Identify emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and new technologies to address potential risks, advocating for the adoption of new security solutions.
Description
We are currently offering two openings, focusing on different areas: one dedicated to developer environments and the other to infrastructure technologies. In this role, you will work closely with key technology and business stakeholders to ensure that strategic objectives are supported and that the organization operates in a secure environment, with security proactively embedded into our services. You will be based in Knutsford (Radbroke Hall). The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to or set strategy, drive requirements, and make recommendations for change. You will advise key stakeholders and manage risks in support of the control and governance agenda.
