Must:
To be successful in the role of UI Developer Lead, we expect you to have:
- Strong experience in front-end development with React Typescript, React Native, Angular framework, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS with Responsive Grid Framework.
- Experience in Java, JSP, Struts 2.
- Basic knowledge of Tomcat, Apache, and NGINX.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of Agile development cycle.
- Knowledge of additional libraries such as jQuery and Lodash will be valued.
You may be assessed on key skills relevant to success in the role, including risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and specific technical skills.
Responsibilities
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, and improving software using various engineering methodologies to enhance business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
- Developing and delivering high-quality software solutions by utilizing industry-standard programming languages, frameworks, and tools, ensuring code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements and devise solutions that align with business objectives and ensure seamless integration.
- Participating in code reviews and promoting a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing among peers.
- Staying informed of industry technology trends and innovations, actively contributing to the organization's technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Adhering to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure the delivery of secure software solutions.
- Implementing effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
Description
As part of your role, you will be expected to consult on complex issues and provide advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues. You will identify ways to mitigate risks, develop new policies and procedures, and take ownership of managing risks while strengthening controls related to your work.
Your responsibilities will also involve collaborating with various areas of the organization to stay aligned with business activity and strategy, engaging in complex analysis of data from multiple sources, and communicating complex information effectively to stakeholders.
