Must:
To be successful as a Tech Adoption Efficiency Lead, you should have experience with:
- Knowledge of our technology landscape at Barclays.
- Prior experience in tech debt remediation, estate planning, or a similar field.
- The ability to connect various aspects of our operations: tech strategy, financials, tech debt/modernization, and the application of GenAI and automation to solve problems.
You will be assessed on key skills relevant for success in this role, including risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital technology, along with job-specific technical skills.
Responsibilities
As our Tech Adoption Efficiency Lead, you will:
- Establish KPIs to measure the success and impact of transformation programs, actively monitor these KPIs to identify ongoing effectiveness, improvement areas within our IT service management framework, and mitigate potential issues.
- Analyze emerging IT service management tools and platforms to see if they can support our transformation goals and future needs.
- Manage the selection and smooth implementation of new tools and platforms into our IT service management processes while overseeing the migration of data from legacy systems to enhance system efficiency and reduce manual workload.
- Develop and communicate change management strategic initiatives, visions, and goals through workshops and various channels to highlight the benefits and impact of modernization and transformation.
- Prioritize our initiatives based on their impact on our goals, resource availability, and feasibility, and develop a clear execution plan for each transformation project to ensure successful implementation.

You will also advise key stakeholders, manage risks, and collaborate across business areas to support alignment with business strategies.
