Requirements
Must:
To be successful in this role, I seek candidates with the following qualifications:
- A strong networking background, including knowledge of the TCP/IP stack, routing (specifically BGP), switching, load balancers, and DNS.
- Expertise in security and compliance, particularly with Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW), NAT, IPSec VPNs, and cloud-specific security controls such as security groups, NACLs, and WAFs.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to address complex networking issues across on-premises and various cloud environments.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as infrastructure as code and an understanding of DevOps concepts.
Responsibilities
In this position, I expect you to:
- Design, implement, and optimize cloud networking services across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. Your work will support the bank’s digital transformation journey by enabling reliable, innovative, and secure digital services for our global customer base.
- Build and maintain infrastructure platforms and products that support applications and data systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
- Monitor IT infrastructure and system performance, utilizing data to identify and address potential issues, aiming to drive down mean time to resolution.
- Develop and implement automated processes to improve efficiency while minimizing manual intervention.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, architects, and engineers to define IT infrastructure requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
