Requirements
Must:
To be successful in this role, you should have strong hands-on experience in the configuration, deployment, and running of ForgeRock COTS-based IAM solutions (such as PingGateway, PingAM, PingIDM, PingDS). You will need to have designed and implemented cloud-based, scalable, and resilient IAM solutions for large corporate organizations. We expect you to have IAM engineering experience in areas including authentication, authorization, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, identity lifecycle management, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and policy management. Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, and Python is essential, and you should be comfortable with API and microservices development. A strong working knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering principles, as well as experience with Cloud computing (AWS is essential, Azure is a plus), is also required.
Some additional highly desirable skills include experience in DevSecOps, knowledge of Product Operating Models, familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tooling (Chef is essential, Ansible is a plus), containerization knowledge of authentication, and biometric system design. Open-source experience is a plus. You may be assessed on critical skills relevant for success, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and specific technical skills.

You will guide and provide expertise to engineering teams, ensuring alignment with best practices and fostering a culture of technical excellence. Your contributions will also include strategic planning, aligning technical decisions with business goals, and anticipating future technology trends.
You will be responsible for the design and implementation of complex, scalable, and maintainable software solutions, while considering long-term viability and business objectives. Mentoring junior and mid-level engineers to foster professional growth will be part of your day-to-day activities. Additionally, you will collaborate with business partners, product managers, and other stakeholders to convert business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring a cohesive approach to product development. Innovation will be essential as you identify and incorporate new technologies, methodologies, and industry practices into the engineering process.
