Must:
To be successful as a MS Teams Service Engineer, I’m looking for candidates who have experience supporting Microsoft Teams in an operational role, including monitoring systems, resolving technical issues with minimal disruption, and providing daily user support. You should have knowledge of SharePoint and its integration with Microsoft Teams and other collaboration tools, along with MS-700 certification. Proficiency in PowerShell and writing scripts is also essential. Additionally, experience in a technical engineering role with Microsoft Teams, awareness of Microsoft Copilot in a business or technical context, or experience in regulated industries like financial services will be highly valued. MS-721 certification is a plus. Key skills assessed may include risk awareness, understanding business needs, strategic thinking, and digital and technical knowledge.
Responsibilities
As a MS Teams Service Engineer, you will effectively monitor and maintain our critical technology infrastructure, resolving complex technical issues while minimizing operational disruption. Your responsibilities will include providing technical support to resolve complex issues for specific clients, developing support models to enhance customer service, executing preventative maintenance tasks, and analyzing system logs to identify root causes of hardware, software, and network issues. You will also focus on automation, monitoring enhancements, and stakeholder management. Additionally, you will take a proactive approach to assess support activities and implement automations, while maintaining a knowledge base for self-service opportunities and knowledge sharing.
