We are looking for a Fullstack API Developer Lead who has strong experience with Java8/17, along with hands-on expertise in RESTful API, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. Development experience with AWS, including Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB, is essential. Other highly valued skills include Test-Driven Development (TDD), JUnit, and knowledge of basic design principles. As a candidate, you should possess excellent problem-solving abilities. You may be assessed on critical skills, including risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and specific technical skills relevant to the role.
Responsibilities
In this role, you'll design, develop, and enhance software using various engineering methodologies to provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. Your accountabilities will include:
- Developing and delivering high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements and devise solution strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Participating in code reviews and promoting a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Staying updated on industry technology trends and innovations while contributing to the organization’s technology communities to foster technical excellence and growth.
- Adhering to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
- Implementing effective unit testing practices to ensure code design, readability, and reliability.
