Requirements
Must:
- Proficient with production usage of one or more backend programming languages (Python, Go, other backend languages acceptable provided can ramp up quickly)
- Some experience with frontend development (frameworks such as Next.Js, React, etc.)
- Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and clean code principles desirable
- Experience with containerised applications, microservices & event-driven architecture
- Experience of professional software engineering in an enterprise environment (Scrum Agile, test-driven design, or infra test tooling)
- Good experience of collaboration with various stakeholders such as product managers and solution designers
Responsibilities
- Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools
- Ensure that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance
- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements and devise solution strategies
- Participate in code reviews and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing
- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and contribute to the organizations technology communities
- Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and ensure secure software solutions
- Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability
