Requirements
Must:
- Execution focused and experienced in working in a Risk, Control, Governance, or PMO environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in SharePoint Online (managing lists and pages), Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in maintenance of risk inventories and governance documentation.
- Skilled in the management and operation of associated committees, forums, and meetings.
- Familiarity with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep Builder, Excel VBA, and Confluence.
- In-depth technical knowledge and experience in the assigned area of expertise.
- Thorough understanding of the underlying principles and concepts within the area of expertise.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Chief Risk Officer(s) in the implementation and ongoing effectiveness of the banks risk management framework.
- Implement risk management policies, standards, procedures, and controls across the bank.
- Assess and promote risk management awareness and risk controls and culture.
- Review, challenge, and monitor the effectiveness of existing risk management practices.
- Identify new and emerging risks, assess likelihood and impact, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Manage and operate associated committees, forums, and meetings.
- Drive continuous improvement while performing prescribed activities to a high standard.
- Lead and supervise a team to guide and support professional development as well as resource allocation.
- Advise and influence decision making within own area of expertise.
- Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls related to the assigned work.
