Must:
I am looking for candidates with experience in the following areas:
- Java development in the investment banking domain
- Relational database management systems
- Messaging brokers (Kafka, Solace, MQ, etc.)
Additionally, I highly value:
- Low latency programming experience
- Proficiency in scripting
- Strong communication skills

Responsibilities
In this role, my primary focus is on designing, developing, and improving software using various engineering methodologies. The goal is to provide robust business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. I will be responsible for:
- Developing and delivering high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Ensuring the code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Participating in code reviews and promoting a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing among peers.
- Staying informed about industry technology trends and contributing to our organization's technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Adhering to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
- Implementing effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
Description
As an Assistant Vice President, I will consult on complex issues and provide advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated matters. I will identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies and procedures to support the control and governance agenda, taking ownership of managing risk and strengthening controls in my work. My role will require me to understand how various areas coordinate and contribute to the organization’s objectives. I will also engage in complex analyses of data from multiple internal and external sources and communicate complex information effectively, influencing stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
