Requirements
Must:
We seek candidates with proven experience in Python engineering, particularly focused on backend and infrastructure tooling. You should have deep knowledge of AWS services, including IAM, KMS, CloudFormation, API Gateway, S3, Lambda, ECS, Glue, Step Functions, MSK, EKS, and Bedrock. Experience in scaling platforms for AI/ML workloads and integrating generative AI tooling is necessary. You must understand secure software development, cloud cost optimization, and platform observability, as well as have the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. You should also demonstrate capability in guiding engineering teams and influencing technical strategies.
Additionally, other highly valued skills include experience with MLOps platforms (such as Databricks or SageMaker), familiarity with hybrid cloud strategies, and a solid understanding of AI infrastructure for scalable model serving, distributed training, and GPU orchestration. Expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Small Language Models (SLMs) will be beneficial, along with hands-on experience using Hugging Face libraries for model training and deployment. Awareness of agentic frameworks and emerging trends in GenAI platforms and open-source MLOps is also advantageous.
Responsibilities
In this hands-on engineering role, I expect you to design, develop, and enhance our platform, utilizing various engineering methodologies. Your main accountabilities will include:
- Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Collaborative work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements and devise solution strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Participation in code reviews to promote a culture of code quality and knowledge-sharing.
- Staying informed about industry technology trends and contributing to our technology communities.
- Adhering to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
- Implementing effective unit testing practices to ensure code reliability.
