Requirements

Must:
- Three A levels at grade C or above, preferably in maths and related subjects such as IT and science (or equivalent) or relevant experience. - Foundational understanding of coding and data concepts, with experience in SQL, Python, or cloud platforms. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders, understand reporting requirements, and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges related to data accuracy, report performance, and overall reporting efficiency. - Proficiency in providing documentation, presentations, and statistical analysis using the Microsoft Office suite. - Eagerness to learn new technologies and work effectively in a collaborative team environment. - Exemplary customer service skills; polite, professional, helpful, friendly, patient, empathetic, and considerate of the complex and varying needs of all customer groups. - Full, clean driving license to travel timely to visit offices, universities/colleges, and attend meetings, frequently located in areas not covered by public transport. - A demonstrated commitment to our values and behaviors.

Responsibilities

- Develop technical and soft skills to gain hands-on experience in building and managing a modern data stack/architecture that collects, manages, and converts data into usable information for data scientists, analysts, and business intelligence analysts. - Learn and apply reporting solutions for effective data visualization and strategic operational reporting. - Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) pipelines for data ingestion and transformation. - Work with databases and data lakes to clean, structure, integrate, and optimize datasets and data models. - Collaborate with business/data analysts and stakeholders to understand datasets and reporting requirements, gaining skills to articulate data solutions clearly. - Understand and apply core data principles, practices, and standards to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within the reporting environment. - Analyze and interpret data sets to extract meaningful insights, trends, and patterns. - Explore and document the data lifecycle applicable to our data collection processes, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and reliability. - Perform any other duties required for the role.
