Requirements
Must:
I am seeking candidates with at least 3 years of experience in a similar IT Infrastructure or Security role. You should have demonstrable experience supporting applications, infrastructure, and hardware, including configuring Cisco and Dell switches. Additionally, you must be experienced in administering Windows Server 2016 and 2022, working in virtual server environments, and managing backup and replication solutions. Proficiency with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policy is essential. A strong advocate for IT security, you should also have experience with security technology and protocols, including firewalls, XDR, and endpoint detection. Desired qualifications include knowledge of VMware, Azure, CCNA, and security-related certifications, as well as experience administering Azure Infrastructure, Intune Endpoint, and working in an ITIL environment.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be involved in the design, installation, configuration, and testing of IT infrastructure, both on-premise and in the cloud. You will manage the day-to-day operations of servers, firewalls, switches, and other equipment, while taking charge of cybersecurity awareness throughout the organization. You will contribute to cloud and SaaS security best practices, perform vulnerability assessments and responses, and be responsible for the organization's cybersecurity platforms. Additionally, you will provide a layer of escalation for complex issues that arise within the Service Desk team and support VPN and remote workers.
