Responsibilities
- I will assist with setting up and configuring network devices such as switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- I will help monitor and assess network performance to maintain reliable uptime and ensure smooth daily operations.
- I will contribute to producing and updating technical guides, diagrams, and documentation for network systems and processes.
- I will keep track of hardware and software assets by maintaining up-to-date inventory records and supporting internal audits.
- I will provide day-to-day assistance to IT teams, responding to technical queries and network-related issues.
- I will participate in scheduled maintenance tasks and support system upgrades to ensure our equipment remains up to date.
- I will help investigate and respond to potential security alerts, supporting efforts to protect our data and network integrity.
Description
We are a manufacturing company currently seeking an apprentice to assist with our IT and smart networks. This role will provide you with a hands-on opportunity to work with enterprise technology, engage with key stakeholders within our company, and develop new skills. It is ideal for a first-time role since training will be provided.
