Requirements
Must:
- Fully conversant and comply with Change Management processes and supporting governance.
- Confident and professional in communicating with all stakeholders, including Senior Management.
- Extensive experience in network technologies and protocols within your native domain.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end service journeys.
- Ability to adapt to emerging and evolving technologies.
- Able to work in a high-pressure environment.
- Self-driven attitude towards learning new skills and aiding others development.
- Strong system administration skills across various operating systems such as Linux and Windows, focusing on performance optimization, security, and automation.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing and best practices.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python or Ansible, with familiarity in CI/CD orchestration.
Responsibilities
- Utilize technical knowledge and operational understanding to deliver improvements in service availability.
- Implement flawless change, provide technical resolution, and promote a “Brilliant” customer experience.
- Champion effective working relationships to deliver business outcomes and add value.
- Contribute to improving reliability, scalability, and performance of services through automation and operational excellence.
- Deliver routine daily activities and support the design, build, testing, validation, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
- Serve as technical lead on incidents and participate in post-incident reviews.
- Propose and implement innovations for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with design and platform teams to support flawless change implementations.
- Configure and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure system health and performance.
- Troubleshoot faults within the infrastructure to optimize performance and security.
- Support 365x24/7 callout for third line technical resolution across various technologies.
