Requirements
Must:
- Experience in designing, building and providing third-line support for complex IP networks that are secure, scalable, resilient, and high performing.
- Network Architecture expertise.
- Proficient in Requirements Gathering and Network Security.
- Strong skills in Network Design and Network Infrastructure.
- Ability to set the technical direction for complex and large network solutions, creating high and low-level designs.
- Knowledge of network design for security, including firewall, IDS, and IPS.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Desire to continually update, enhance, and validate your skills.
Preferred but not mandatory:
- Experience with enterprise and operator-scale routing design using protocols such as OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, LDP, or RSVP.
- Knowledge of automation and Software Defined Networking, such as Cisco DNAC and Ansible.
- Experience with internal and external stakeholder management.
- Certification in a networking discipline like CISCO CCNP Routing and Switching is desirable, but practical experience is prioritized.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of high and low-level network designs for complex IP networks.
- Implement these solutions hands-on, utilizing vendor products such as Cisco.
- Work directly with customers to gather requirements and inform your solutions.
- Collaborate with support teams for the management and ongoing support of deployed solutions.
- Provide third-line support for deployed solutions as needed.
- Offer support to other project team members by setting their technical direction.
