Must:
- Native app development in Kotlin Multi Platform
- Experience aggressively growing an app user base
- Experience understanding and driving app metrics
- Exceptional stakeholder communication demonstrating the value of the App product teams and the way apps drive key business metrics
- Experience working in a matrix model
- Strong product leadership including experience with design thinking and data-led decision making
- Line management of product squads
- Be a product thought leader and help to embed a product culture in B&Q
- Comfortable navigating and simplifying ambiguity
Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy in collaboration with team and stakeholders
- Define the 2+ years out product vision and strategy for native Apps
- Utilize hypothesis driven experimentation to drive value and learning
- Champion the plan and bring stakeholders along with you
- Develop clear measurable OKRs with business stakeholders
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor moves
- Bring customer first and speed to value thinking into roadmap prioritization
- Drive product-led ways of working in teams and stakeholders
- Stay close to customers using qualitative and quantitative tools
- Understand and drive the flow of work through delivery teams
- Proactively manage team resources, quality standards, and risks
- Lead complex multi-team delivery with the support of the Programme Manager
- Drive high performance and engagement of your team through regular check-ins
- Support the development of team members through active coaching
- Create an inclusive environment and engage the team through fair leadership
- Coach team and others in product ways of working
