Security Specialist, UK & Northern Europe

- Conduct security risk assessments and surveys for company personnel, assets, facilities, and business activities - Assist in identifying and monitoring security threats that may impact bp personnel, assets, or operations - Support the development and implementation of mitigation measures aligned to assessed security risks - Maintain security risk registers and supporting documentation in accordance with company risk management processes - Provide security input to projects and operational activities to ensure security considerations are incorporated into planning - Support the preparation and delivery of security briefings and threat updates for business partners - Assist in the implementation and review of physical, procedural, and technical security measures across bp locations - Conduct site visits and security reviews to support assurance activities and verification of security controls - Support coordination with Business Security Representatives and site contacts to ensure security standards are consistently applied - Maintain effective working relationships with internal partners across bp businesses to support the communication and management of security risks - Engage with relevant external partners including law enforcement agencies and government organizations as needed - Contribute to incident management and crisis response activities when required - Ensure that security activities align with the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights and relevant bp Ethics and Compliance requirements - Support monitoring of contractors and third-party compliance with bp security standards where security systems or services are involved
